Oman QR

Refund Policy

This policy explains when you can get your money back for an Oman QR subscription, how to ask, and how long it takes. It applies to every paid plan, however you paid.

Try before you pay

Oman QR has a free plan with no time limit. You can create QR codes and see exactly how the service works before you spend anything. We ask you to use it, because it answers most questions a refund would otherwise have to.

14-day refund on your first payment

If you are unhappy with a paid plan, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason.

This applies to the first payment on an account. Renewals are covered by the section below.

Renewals

We email you 7 days and 1 day before a subscription ends, so a renewal should never be a surprise. If you are charged for a renewal you did not intend, tell us within 7 days of the charge and we will refund it in full, provided you have not used the paid features during that period.

You can stop future renewals at any time from your account. Cancelling keeps your plan running until the end of the period you have already paid for — it does not cut you off immediately, and it does not trigger a refund for the remainder of that period.

Part-used periods

Outside the windows above we do not refund unused time on a subscription. If you cancel halfway through a month or a year, your plan stays active until that period ends and then stops.

What happens to your QR codes

Please read this before requesting a refund, because it is the part that catches people out.

Refunding a subscription returns your account to the free plan. Your static QR codes keep working exactly as they are — they are permanent and do not depend on us. Your dynamic QR codes keep resolving to wherever they currently point, but you will no longer be able to change that destination, and scan analytics stop.

If you have printed dynamic codes on menus, packaging or signage, point them somewhere you are happy to leave permanently before you ask for a refund.

When we cannot refund

  • Requests made after the windows described above.
  • Accounts suspended or closed for breaching the Terms of Use.
  • Charges you did not make yourself — those are a fraud matter, not a refund. Contact us and your bank immediately and we will help.

How to request a refund

Email support@omanqr.com from the address on your account, with your invoice number. Every invoice number is in the PDF attached to the receipt we emailed you, and looks like INV-202608-845484.

We reply to every request within 2 business days.

How the money comes back

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. We cannot send a refund anywhere else.

  • Thawani — refunded in Omani Rial, normally visible within 7 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • PayPal — refunded in US Dollars, normally within 5 business days.

If your card is billed in a different currency, your bank converts the refund at the rate on the day it is processed. That rate may differ from the day you paid, so the amount that lands can be slightly different from the amount taken. That difference is set by your bank and is outside our control.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the version that applies to you is the one that was published on the day you paid.
